Caryn Effron
Caryn Effron is a senior managing director with Ackman Ziff Real Estate and has over 17 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. She founded GoGirl Finance in 2008. Caryn received her BA from The University of Michigan and MBA from New York University.
Peter Boyce
Prior to becoming one of the founding members of GoGirl Finance, Peter Boyce was an analyst in the Business Development and Marketing group at Bad Boy Entertainment and a summer analyst at Scoggin Capital Management. Peter is currently an undergraduate studying Applied Mathematics at Harvard College.
Brooke Effron
Brooke Effron is an independent marketing consultant with over 15 years of Brand Management and Marketing Strategy experience. Working with Fortune 500 companies ranging from consumer packaged goods to media and entertainment, Brooke has always established herself as an integral part of the teams she has assisted. Her particular strengths lie in launching and managing businesses, building brand identities and making strategic decisions. Brooke earned an A.B. (cum laude) from Princeton University and a M.B.A. from The Wharton School of Business.
Kat McCue
Kat McCue is a writer living in Astoria, NY. She now writes for an ad agency in downtown Manhattan, where she works full-time. Her work appears in various business and media publications online, as well as in literary publications across the country. She received a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Kansas.
Shannon McBeen
Shannon McBeen is a California native who recently got her Master’s degree in Information and Library Science from Pratt Institute. A former project manager for a high-end residential construction company, she’s now a freelance writer, editorial assistant, and waiter.

Prior to joining GoGirl Finance, Sarah taught history and government at the high school level. Since leaving the world of teaching, Sarah has written for various online publications. Sarah received a BA from Queens University in Ontario, Canada, and an MA from The University of Toronto in Canada.
Jacoba Urist
Jacoba Urist is a lawyer, mother and Huffington Post Parents blogger in New York. She has a JD and LL.M in Taxation from New York University. Jacoba spent the last year researching (almost) every aspect of parenting and planning for the future for her book, The Happiest Parent.
Sarah Dickerson
Sarah Dickerson is a recent graduate of Wellesley College living in Boston, MA. She has written for other online publications including Girl’s Guide to Paris, Café Abroad, and Artspace Marketplace. She currently works at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
